CSTD Mar 09 Exam Pictures

Dear Parents & girls,

I have uploaded yesterday and today's parents online under the "pictures" section. Click on the relevant dates to find pictures of your daughter. Apologises for the bad photography but I'm sure many of you have taken good pictures as well. Do send me pictures of those that I have taken with the girls to me via gmail. Greatly appreciate that! :)

I hope all your daughters have enjoyed and benefited greatly from the examinations. Examination results will be out in mid-april 09.

Attire and Shoes Order

Dear Parents,

The attire orders taken in Jan 09 has finally arrived. Very sorry for the delay as there was some delay at the US supplier's side. Certain items were out of stock. I will be giving out the orders in class.
However, I'm still waiting for the shoes orders to be in. Expect delivery will be within a week. I will pass the shoes to you as soon as I get them.

March 09 Examination Dates and Details

Dear Parents and Girls (mar 09 examination batch),

The dates below have been released by the examination board.
18th March 2009 (Wednesday) - Loyang Point exam students
19th March 2009 (Thursday) - Jurong East exam students

The examiner's name is Mrs Alback.

Exact reporting time will be released to you the next lesson, if you have not received them.

Dear Grade 1 girls,

Please watch this video carefully. It shows how the polka should be done beautifully.

n2 - placement.

Comparison of CSTD and RAD Syllabus

Recently, I do get some questions on the difference between CSTD and RAD syllabus. I have prepared a handout to try to explain the differences. However, I have problems loading it up to the site.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Dear Girls & Parents,

There will be no classes from 22nd Jan 09 (Thurs) to 29th Jan 09 (Thurs). All lessons will resume from 30 Jan 09 (Fri) at your usual class times.

Baby & Maternity leave

Dear Parents,

I guess by now, many of you do know that I'm expecting since my tummy is showing. Little baby is going to be due in early may 09. My plan is to teach till I'm about to give birth. I will be on a 13-14 week maternity leave (around may - aug 09 period). During that period, a relief teacher will take all my classes. Do give your greatest support to her.

Examinations for November 09
There will be no effect on coaching classes. Girls in the november examination season will be taking november 2009 exams as per schedule. I will be trying to cover most of the exam syllabus work in class before I go on maternity leave.

Circulars and letters will be made available in due course if you have not received any thing about examinations.

Examinations for March 2010
This batch of students will be not affected as I will be back from maternity leave already.

First examinations for pre ballet girls
If your daughter is currently in a pre ballet class (new or recently joined less than one year), circulars and letters will be out in due course to advise you on the examinations. As I have many classes of these at different levels of progress, its hard for me to post information on each and every class. Do email me if you would like to find out more.
