Technique - Grand Plie

Dear Grade 3, 4 & 5 girls,

Please take a look at this video and pay special attention on how a grand plie is done. Remember is not about how high is my demi pointe. The demi pointe comes naturally as you plie.

Focus on
1) Opening your inner thigh muscles.
2) Pushing your knees to the side as much as possible
3) Keeping your hips down and in line with heels so that from the side, I should see a nice flat back line, not a sloping line.
4) Knees ALWAYS over/inline with your toes!!!
